There isnt one guy who isnt interested in soem kind of computer game...so its nromal. not nerdy :P

anyways ever since ive started Universtiy i haven't had to time to play any new games or even know what new games there are but what i do play are pure gold :)
As you probably can see from the Homepage, im a big starcraft fan, not big enough to download replays or pro player and try to copy their moves, but big enough so that its still one of my favourite games even after all these years.
I've always been a big fan or RTS(Real Time Strategy) games and Many of the ones i like are :
Starcraft: Brood War
Warcraft 3
C&C Tiberian Sun
Warcraft 2
and the orginal C&C 95
that was the first RTS game i ever played and it was what opened me up to the world of gaming
of course there are other great games out there such as Unreal Tourament, Sim City (All of them) and teh good old classics such as Mario Bros. Donkey Kong, and one of my All time favourites: The Legend of Zelda series...

whoever invented that is truly a genius
SO far my favourite one is Legend of Zelda: the Ocarina of Time, The one for N64
and i eagerly wait the release of the newest series, The Legend of Zelda: The Twilight Princess, due to be released sometime soon :D:D:D

  Trading Card Games
Many of you's might have played with trading card games before, but for those of you who haven't or don't know what trading card games are, allow me to explain.
As the name suggests, Trading Card Games (TCG) are colector cards in which players not only collect but also use to construct a deck with, this deck is used to play against other players. (A bit like the TV shows Yu-gi-oh and Duel Masters).

Of course most good trading card games are different to those. There are more cards to collect, and more strategy involved when constructing a deck and a LOT of skills required to play the deck and the game for that matter.
The TCGs i play are Magic The Gathering and Pokemon.
I play pokemon becasue my little brother plays so i got some cards and learned the rules (Which isnt hard at all) so he could have someone to play agaisnt when he's at home.
But the main TCG im into is Magic The gathering. Magic is very popular worldwide and is played by many different people from around the world.

Magic The Gathering
Magic The gathering was created by RIchard Garfield almost 10+ years ago. Now it is owned by Wizards of the Coast and still remains very popular.
In Magic, players are wizards who seek to destory the other 'wizards' in the game armed with an array of spells (cards in the deck).
Players can cast Creatures spells in which they can attack and block with and also other one-time spells such as an all time favourite fireball or lightning bolt.
Each Players start on 20 life and whenever their life total has reached 0, that player loses the game.

Online Gaming
There are many web-based Online games, one of such i enjoy and recommend to all online gamers is Utopia by swirve.
Utopia is a very popular online with more than 80,000 players.
Utopia takes place in medieval times ina fanasty world, with humans elves, orcs, faeries halflings etc..its takes a striking resemblence to Lord of the Rings.
You are the ruler of a Province and you are a member of a Kingdom, you and your Kingdom must work together to reach a common goal, what that goal is depends on your kingdom but you must all work together.
This game involves a lot of calculation and team work, so who says you can't learn things by playing games? ;)

A good start for new players is to read the guide to see what is involved but if you are interested, heres the utopia link below.
